Solidarity after hurricane damage in Honduras
In December 2020, we made a humble gift of Christmas food parcels to 30 families in Los Linderos, a remote village in the west of Honduras, whose homes and lands had been damaged by hurricanes. A group of volunteers, including Feliciano and his wife Susana (pictured), organised the purchase of food items that they knew the families would need. They borrowed a jeep to transport the food and, because there was no road access to the village for the last mile, the families walked to meet them. We were pleased to provide some support, even though it was small, and were grateful to Feliciano and his family for helping to make it happen.
